Company funding will support coaches, volunteers and members at Preston’s inclusive rugby club.

PRESS RELEASE — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRESTON, Lancashire, 1 October 2026 - AJG Regulatory Solutions is sponsoring neurodiversity training for Typhoons RUFC, providing financial support to help the club make grassroots rugby more accessible and inclusive.

The sponsorship will fund training delivered by Burnley-based Neuro-Sparks for the club’s coaches, committee and members. A session for coaches and committee members is scheduled for Thursday 8 October 2026, followed by a club-wide session and informal Q&A on Wednesday 21 October 2026.

The programme aims to help participants better understand neurodiversity and consider how communication, coaching and everyday club activities can support people with different needs. It builds on Typhoons’ commitment to welcoming people of all sexualities, genders and levels of rugby experience.

Adrian Golifer, Founder of AJG Regulatory Solutions, said:

‘Initiating sponsorship of Typhoons’ neurodiversity training was a way to give back to the club and support the people at its heart, alongside the valued contribution of its wider sponsor community.’

‘For me, inclusion is about how people are welcomed, understood and supported in everyday club life. If this training helps a coach better understand a player or helps someone feel more comfortable walking through the club’s doors, then I’ll be proud to have played a part in making that possible.’

The financial contribution reflects AJG Regulatory Solutions’ support for practical initiatives that help people feel welcome and able to participate in their local community.

The programme is planned to include pre- and post-training questionnaires assessing participants’ knowledge and confidence, providing a basis for reviewing what they have learned and identifying opportunities for further improvement.
